    Baocai Du's latest work on halogen-free solvent processed OPVs is accepted in Advanced Functional Materials. This work replaces the traditional halogen solvent and solvent additive with their halogen-free counterparts, and demonstrates that hot-casting can bring back the efficiency loss and even improve the efficiency, and is effective in both binary and ternary photovoltaic systems. This work hold practical application toward the commercialization of OPVs.
