In this work, alkoxythiophene additives were found that can enhance the intermolecular interactions for a range of BDT-structured polymer donors, i.e. PM6, D18, PBDB-T, PTB7-Th and promote them into one dimensional nanofibrils. By further adapting these fibrillar polymer donors to construct pseudo-bulk heterojunction OSCs, generally improved device performance are recevied, with PCEs increased from 18.2% to 19.2% (certified 18.96%) and from 17.9 to 18.7% in PM6/L8-BO and D18/L8-BO devices.
