This work designed a series of fused-ring non-fullerene electron acceptor, and demonstrated the synergistic effect of Asymmetry and halogenation to tune the optoelectronic properties and enhance molecular stacking, leading to the highest device efficiency of 13.3% employing malononitrile (ClIC) unit terminated non-fullerene electron acceptor IDTT-Cl-2F.
